Seoul-based designer with 3+ years of experience delivering clean, thoughtful digital experiences.

With a background in fine arts, I have cultivated a rigorous aesthetic sensibility and a high standard for visual clarity. I believe the most effective design is simple, intuitive, and distilled to its essence. During three years at Amorepacific, Naver, and Woowa Brothers (Baemin), I honed the ability to filter ideas through this lens and deliver work that met both functional and aesthetic demands.

Yet the role of designers is bound to evolve. Today’s workflow typically separates planning, design, and development, but such boundaries are likely to dissolve. In this shift, redundant and inefficient tasks will fade away, while attention will turn toward anticipating unrealized scenarios and preempting risks in the design of future systems.

Reflecting on how I could make a meaningful impact within such a future, I realized it would require moving beyond surface-level visual execution toward deeper theoretical grounding and a research-driven approach. This led me to pursue graduate study, where I am building original insight and an independent research ethos—qualities I believe will define the core value of design practice in the years to come.
